Friday’s Festival of Speed
Presented by Wade Equine Coaches
After your first day at Equifest, sit back and watch the thrilling sports of showjumping and barrel racing. The epic rivalry in both sports is heightened by the awesome atmosphere of a large crowd with special sound and lighting effects in the Equifest indoor arena.
Equifest’s Friday Nightshow will include both a pony and horse jumping speed class where power, accuracy and control are required on a tight and intense course. This will then be followed by a fiercely competitive barrel race where speed, guts and precision will determine the ultimate winner. Plus, more to be announced!
Saturday’s Festival of Fun
Presented by NSC - The English Saddle Company
In special Saturday nightshow fashion, the evening will celebrate some of New Zealand's best equine performers.
Equifest's Saturday Nightshow showcases the unique skills and bond between horse and rider, the remarkable trainability of horses and their cooperation to perform.
Saturday's Nightshow will be hosted by Dan Steers and Amanda Wilson and feature all three of the Wilson Sisters, songstress and performer Casey Evans and 2021 KHH winners Ellie Harrison and Mars. Plus, more to be announced!
