Taking place on Friday night at Equifest 2025, the Festival of Speed promises an adrenaline-charged showcase of equestrian sport, featuring showjumping, barrel racing, and the fast-paced thrills of scurrying. As the night builds, the action switches to the barrel racing arena, where riders and their horses power through the cloverleaf pattern. It’s a true test of agility and partnership, where fractions of a second make all the difference.
The grand finale will see the return of scurrying ponies – a crowd favourite. Teams of ponies weave and dart through a series of cones in a breathtaking display of speed, accuracy, and teamwork. It’s fast, it’s thrilling, and it’s guaranteed to bring the house down.
